The Greek Taverna is a locally-owned restaurant that provides an authentic Greek experience. Opened in February of 2011 by George Kompothecras, the establishment proudly stands as a tribute to one of the most important aspects of the culture--the dining table. As our guest, you will enjoy genuine Mediterranean dishes prepared with a sense of spice and flavor that will leave you astounded. All of our food is prepared fresh by George's wife, Doris, on an as-needed basis and always with the warmth of home. Of course, we carry a range of imported Greek wines to help bring full flavors to your palette, and sometimes even offer live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays. Our goal remains to make you feel at home while offering food “better than Grandma's!”
